1. Strictly necessary storage

These are required for the service to function. The app will not work properly without them:

• Sign-in session (Supabase Auth). Keeps you logged in and protects your account. Expires when you sign out or the session ends.
• Invite status. Remembers that an accepted invite code belongs to this browser, so you are not asked twice.
• Demo mode. If you try the app without signing in, your chosen display name and local chats are kept in your browser only.
• Theme preference. Remembers your light, dark, or system appearance choice.

2. Authentication and security

Google sign-in and email magic links pass through Supabase Auth, which may set its own security-related cookies during the login flow. Ephemeral voice-call credentials expire within minutes and are never stored long-term.

3. Analytics and advertising

We run no advertising networks or social-media pixels. To validate the product before launch we use two privacy-conscious measurement tools:

• PostHog (product analytics). Page visits and feature usage (for example, trial messages sent, waiting-list joins, chats started). We send metadata only — never message text, images, voice audio, or passwords. Honors your browser's Do-Not-Track setting.
• Sentry (error monitoring). Crash and error reports with scrubbed URLs (invite codes and login tokens are removed) so we can fix reliability issues fast.

4. Managing cookies and storage

You can clear cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out, forget your theme and invite status on that browser, and erase demo-mode chats kept locally. Because the storage above is strictly necessary, there is no separate opt-out banner — the service itself is your consent to use them, and you can stop using it at any time.
